The Stamford Osteopathic Clinic has been treating patients effectively for more than 20 years. We are situated in a purpose-built facility with easy and free parking, in the village of Great Casterton, on the north side of Stamford.

We use hands on techniques to relieve your pain, improve the mobility and function of your body.
We spend time listening carefully to the problems you have. We carry out a thorough clinical examination and then determine the cause of your problem. We explain clearly what is causing your problem (a diagnosis), how we can help treat your problem and what you can do to help yourself to get better quickly.

Susan and her team at The Stamford Osteopathic Clinic are professional and hardworking. They really listen to what is causing the issues and not only treat the pain but also treat the cause. I have been taking my son from an early age post a traumatic birth. Keeping on top of the growing pains and knock/tumbles means that he is a carefree child. The Stamford Osteopathic clinic is in a great location with parking.

My first experience of treatment by Dr. Susan Nicholson was in excess of twenty years ago and since then, whenever the occasion arose, Dr. Susan has relieved my symptoms and kept me mobile. My wife was advised by her doctor that within a very short time she would need a hip replacement and sure enough, she got to the stage when she was only able to walk twenty to thirty yards at a time without resting. That was fifteen years ago. With the expertise of Dr. Susan, a hip replacement became unnecessary and since then, we have spent many holidays walking the hills, fells and mountains in the Lake District, the Peaks and Wales. Currently, as we are nearing the age of ninety, Dr. Susan keeps us walking, admittedly on lower routes and in the main pain free.

Just writing this to say a big “Thank You” to Susan Nicholson for giving me back the movement in my neck. Over the past few years I have suffered with  restricted movement, especially when out driving, looking to the left and right. Viraj came highly recommended to me by several people and I now understand why – he has helped my baby boy no end resolving issues with reflux (which Viraj identified was in fact CMPA, where doctors hadn’t), restricted neck movement and feeding issues which Viraj quickly spotted was due to a high pallet. After treatment, that night my son miraculously swallowed solid food which he had been really struggling with before. I now have one happy baby!
